Mr. Causey is a professional, senior financial executive, with over 30 years of financial, accounting, operations and management experience. He has a background in public accounting, and is a former Partner of KPMG, Chartered Accountants. He also has extensive experience in the transportation, seafood and natural resource industries. Mr. Causey is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (Bachelor of Commerce) and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA).
Mr. Causey held several senior executive positions with the Hunter Dickinson group of companies in Vancouver, BC. While at Hunter Dickinson, he was responsible of $200 million of financings, corporate reorganizations and specialized tax planning initiatives. As well, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Curis Resources Ltd., a copper project in Arizona.
