Cascadero Copper is an integrated prospecting and mineral exploration business. The Company has offices in North Vancouver, BC, Sudbury, Ontario and Salta City in the province of Salta, Republic of Argentina. The Company's business model is Property Generator as its geologists and prospectors are expert in identifying areas of alteration that may host large-scale mineral systems. The Company has acquired and is developing a large portfolio of bulk mineable prospects in all jurisdictions. Exploration is currently active in BC, Ontario and Argentina.
In British Columbia, Cascadero holds a 100% in the Toodoggone Project, which consists of a contiguous 31,000 hectare claim block that adjoins the Kemess Mine Site in north central BC. The area has excellent infrastructure including a high-tension power line, all-weather air strip, 400-man camp and a 52,000 tonne per day mining and milling complex that is on care and maintenance. The Toodoggone Project is subject to a Joint Venture with Gold Fields Ltd. who can earn a 75% interest by spending C$20 million. The Joint Venture is entering its third year. The Project is prospective for copper-gold bulk mineable deposits.
In Ontario Cascadero holds the right to acquire a 100% interest in 18 gold properties in the Sudbury, Swayze and Timmins camps. The Company is focused on four properties in the Sudbury region. One of the properties, called Marble Mountain, is subject to Joint Venture Agreement with Gold Fields Ltd. The other three properties are at various stages of work and are expected to be drill ready in 2012.
In Argentina, Cascadero, in July 2008 acquired a 50% in large high-quality property portfolio organized into 14 project areas consisting of 226,000 hectares located in the provinces of Jujuy, Salta and Catamarca. The Company is currently focused on developing mineral resources on three copper-moly-gold porphyries. interest in a portfolio of acquired and holds a 50% interest in SESA Holdings LLC (Nevada), which holds a 100% interest in Salta Exploraciones SA.
